If you've been interested in learning how to use pastel, or just want to try some new techniques, this one-day workshop is for you!
For beginners, Rita will take the mystery and mess out of pastel by explaining the 3 basic 'rules' of pastel use, and will demonstrate the step-by-step process for creating a clean, vibrant pastel painting. More advanced students will benefit from Rita's 30+ years of experience with pastel, and have the opportunity to experiment with new techniques. Instruction will emphasize accurate values, color harmony, and good composition through strategic cropping and placement of elements. Individual attention will be given.
